Better organization, better context
Over the last few weeks, we’ve been putting in quiet work to help you get more done with less overhead. This week delivers small improvements to staying organized and using your tabs as context in Dia. So you have a browser that’s there when you need it, and gone when you don’t.
3 ways to get organized
For many of us, a tab is a task waiting to be done. Now you can swap in an icon that matches what the tab is really for. Customize any tab’s icon by right-clicking it and selecting “Change icon…” to make Dia even more your own.

Work, personal, maybe your third job—Profiles help us keep different parts of our lives organized, even if we’re in one browser. Profile theme colors are now more bold in Dia, so it's easy to see where (or who) you are.

Clean out your tabs with less clicks. If you’re closing out your day, hover over a tab group and click the X to close. And you can always find any closed tabs groups in your bookmark bar.

3 ways to use context
Dia now reads more structured content for channels and threads when you attach Slack to a Chat. So you pull in the full conversation, not just the last few chats.

Links are now more visually appealing in assistant responses, with a favicon for the page and a cleaned-up title. Links now also show a hover tooltip that displays the host name and title.

Not all conversations need to be remembered. You can now Delete chat conversations from Chat history with the right click context menu.

A few more updates
Tap in, Tahoe users. For users on macOS Tahoe, the next Dia release will include a round of visual refinements just for you. We’ve tightened up details like window and menu corner radii, and launched a new Tahoe glass-style Dia icon that responds to your Tahoe appearance. Designed by Jess Wang, Shipped by Chris Yim
F12 to open. We now support F12 to toggle Developer Tools (matching Chrome), and have updated shortcuts to allow binding of function keys (F1–F12). Updated by Chris Yim
Content blocker changes apply instantly. Toggling the content blocker on a page automatically reloads it—and if you have unsaved changes, we’ll ask you to confirm before we do. Fixed by João Neves
Hand off your Tabs. If Dia is your default browser, when you're at your laptop and have a tab open on your iPhone, Dia's icon will show up on your macOS dock (allowing you to quickly open the URL on Desktop). Shipped by Connor Montgomery
