Meet Reports

Ask Dia to draft a plan, chart the data behind a decision, or make sense of a long Slack thread, and now it hands you back a Report: beautifully designed document you can make sense of quickly, tweak to perfection, and share with your team.

For a quick question or a fast back-and-forth, chat is still there. Reports are simply what Dia reaches for when what you asked for needs to be more digestible and presentable. Here are three prompts to try:

  • Can you help prepare me for my 1:1 with my boss by making me a report of everything I worked on this week?
  • Looking at Amplitude, make a report charting key app metrics that we outlined in Notion last week.
  • I’d like to do some competitive research. Make me a report comparing the leading products in my space under $500, with their features side by side.

Made for real work

Dia gets you most of the way there, but the finishing touches are still yours. Here's how you can tweak and organize your Reports so that you can actually use them in your day to day.

Edit Reports inline.

Just highlight and comment right on the page, queue up as many changes as you like, then send them all at once and let Dia take a pass. Edit a line, hone the tone, sharpen the hook, until it feels perfect.

Style Reports until they feel right.

You can make the visual style feel totally you with the cog in the bottom right, which customizes your Report’s aesthetic.

Dia Browser
All your Reports, in one place.

The Files menu is now the single, searchable home for everything you've made with Dia: your Reports, your chats, and the chats tied to specific websites. Open the menu (the file icon in the corner of Dia), find the one you want, and pick up right where you left off.

A few more updates

Order restored. Your bookmarks no longer shuffle themselves around when they sync between devices.
Fixed by Luan

Watch Dia think. Dia now shows its thinking right in the conversation as it works, with controls to expand or collapse it, so answers feel easier to follow.

Offtheclock

Lately my favorite part of the day comes right after daycare pickup: I meet my husband and our baby, and the three of us head out on a little picnic. Some nights we pack dinner from home; other nights we grab takeout on the way, most recently from Gnocchi on 9th, a gnocchi spot that just opened near us. Now that it's finally nice out, it's become the easiest way to slow down and actually be together at the end of the day.
